Alex, your precious few, and well chosen words convey the infiniteness of what you write about. Utterly love-ly.

I’m happy for you, pal.

Very much appreciated James!

Alex, you remind us so eloquently that the most important things in life – like love – cannot be be quantified, deconstructed or even shoehorned into this limiting thing called "language." Perhaps if they *could*, they wouldn't be all that important to begin with.

Well done.

Well said Larry! Appreciate it.

Enjoy your new home Alex! : ) You know you've found the right place when instead of moving somewhere else when you reach a challenge you happily take on the renovations necessary to preserve the sanctuary.

Amen to that, my friend.

This is beautiful, my friend. I'm so thrilled that you two found each other, AND it's wonderful to see you publishing again, as I've missed your writing. This one, which is such a perfect little gem, will stay with me for a long time.

Related quote from a book on how loving someone is like a home, I haven't been able to forget:

ā€œTo love someone is like moving into a house," Sonja used to say. "At first you fall in love in everything new, you wonder every morning that this is one's own, as if they are afraid that someone will suddenly come tumbling through the door and say that there has been a serious mistake and that it simply was not meant to would live so fine. But as the years go by, the facade worn, the wood cracks here and there, and you start to love this house not so much for all the ways it is perfect in that for all the ways it is not. You become familiar with all its nooks and crannies. How to avoid that the key gets stuck in the lock if it is cold outside. Which floorboards have some give when you step on them, and exactly how to open the doors for them not to creak. That's it, all the little secrets that make it your home.ā€
