Holy cannoli, I had never heard the other side of the Dan Price stories. As soon as I heard his name the long haired, bright smiled, virtuous appearing man popped into my head. Besides the point, he was an incredible example to tell the story you told about the dangers of absolutism. I think about dualities often. For instance, there is no such thing as a wholly altruistic person. Altruism and selfishness don't live on separate spectrums, they live on the same sliding scale and in all of us there are the essence of both. Perhaps the more we accept that, the wiser and more joyous we would become. Like you said,

"The world is wonderfully messy. We would be wise to embrace, rather than avoid, its messiness."
