Poor Alan. He should talk to you. I'd even recommend that you mentor him, you clearly have wisdom and experience in this domain. But kidding aside, it brings me great joy to read your writing when you're shooting from this "wake up" place. It always helps me. Keep it comin.

I find myself constantly doing this...usually happens in cycles (birthdays or end of the year) or has some sort of life quake that shakes things up (like Alan). Very good reminder about the value of revisiting the plot often.

This is wonderful, Alex. I can relate to losing the plot in so many dimensions of my life, especially writing online. Paying attention, remembering why you started, is a rule I can live by.
