Love this - "a problem of the mind wasn’t going to be solved through the mind." Its easy to get trapped in a negative feedback loop when you try to brute force think your way through a self-created problem.
I find radical pattern shifts to be the most effective, changing my state and surrounding to break that negative loop, so this 30 day challenge this feels like an effective way to break this particular flavor of writers block!
Heck yeah Alex. I will celebrate every beautiful, eloquent, brilliant, boring, hit-and-miss, creative, ground-breaking, mediocre, original, genius, or re-hashed one of them.
I admire your willingness to push yourself into the discomfort. Speaking of discomfort, I snorted my water out of my nose when I read “Saving the Koalas Using AI” - now that would have been a HUGE subscriber draw! I’ll do my best to stay up with your essays. I like how you write. There’s a precision to it that doesn’t sound sterile or stoic. It feels full and rich.
Hell yeah. I'm all for you writing every day over the next month. I'm really flattered that my essay led to some sort of mental shift.
Can't wait for the Saving Koalas with AI essay. That one feels like a banger.
As one of the "traditional", I'm looking forward to what the next 30 days will bring.
I'm here for this, Alex!! Rooting you on

I can wholly relate to your roadblock at the moment and I hope this helps you get unstuck — definitely excited to read the next 29!
